Canvassing a cross section of fashion and design practitioners, academics and historians, The Measure asks each contributor to reflect on the effect London has had on contemporary culture — and specifically fashion — over the last century. Commissioned by London College of Fashion in its centenary year and edited and conceived by Louise Clarke, contributors to The Measure include: Jimmy Choo, Giles Deacon, Terry Jones, Zandra Rhodes, Paul Smith, Mario Testino and Vivienne Westwood.
The Measure recently won the Chairman’s Award at the Howard Smith Paper Awards.

Flipping through the book, the grid comes clear, but it doesn’t seem to be restrictive. Photographs, illustrations and type are well-balanced with white space and create a well-organised informational texture with a good visual rhythm. I know I’ve found the winner.’
