Lot 055 David Pearson Design
The Arisocratic Adventurer Notable for the miss-spelt title on the spine of this book. One of only two copies in existence as the initial print run of 20,000 copies were quickly pulped. Great Ideas cover proofs These three Great Ideas covers taken from the second series were proofed in the wrong colour: red instead of blue. Rubber stamps Penguin's Great Loves series (2007) used rubber stamps to generate the cover artwork. These three stamps (one stamp for each colour separation) were used to create a cover that never made it to print (see attached image of the unused cover). David Pearson is a London-based designer working in all areas of print, specifically in book design and branding. http://www.davidpearsondesign.com |
