Lot 055 – David Pearson Design

—The Arisocratic Adventurer
– Notable for the miss-spelt title on the spine of this book. One of only two copies in existence as the initial print run of 20,000 copies were quickly pulped.
—Great Ideas cover proofs – These three Great Ideas covers – taken from the second series – were proofed in the wrong colour: red instead of blue.
—Rubber stamps – Penguin's Great Loves series (2007) used rubber stamps to generate the cover artwork. These three stamps (one stamp for each colour separation) were used to create a cover that never made it to print (see attached image of the unused cover).
