Julian Morey was born in London in 1966. Graduating from Central St Martins School of Art in 1988 he joined Peter Saville Associates where he Collaborated on designs for the Haçienda, New Order and Factory Records.
Since 1992 he has practised idependently as a Freelance Design Consultant specialising in Typography and Typeface design. His clients have included Kesselskramer, Giorgio Armani, Phillips Auctioneers, The V&A and Vogue.
He is the founder of the contemporary typeface foundry Club-21 and publishing company Editions Eklektic.
