—‘The Quatrain Theory’: The only sonnet of Shakespear’s to contain at least one of every letter denoting the formulaic make-up of the quatrain theory. Hand screen printed, number 1 in an edition of 10, on Canaletto 300gsm stock.
Barney Beech, Dougal Burgess and Richard Barnett established THIS IS Studio in September 2006, after graduating from Camberwell College of Art – The studio was born through a love of honest, innovative and playful graphic design.
Their work is ideas-led and informed by the individual characteristics of each project, this has seen their design sit across a varied range of platforms be it moving image or printmaking, environmental design to illustration. Clients range from Nickelodeon, to MUSE and the Victoria and Albert museum. While running the company, THIS IS Studio have also lectured and run workshops at LCC, Camberwell College of Arts and CIty of Islington College.
