—Virus T-Shirt: One of the few left from this limited edition t-shirt featuring a type sample from Virus typeface Infidel.
—Signed y2K Book: A book of selected writing published by the Millenium Experience and Booth Clibborn Editions to coincide with the start of the new millenium. The book featured a selection of writers associated with Britain over the past century. Barnbrook were given the text and asked to design in such a way that brought it to life, sourcing all of their own illustrations and coming up with their own concepts.
—Regime, Virus Font: To celebrate the ultimate ‘regime change’ – The end of the Bush presidency — on the day of the presidential inauguration Barnbrook released ‘regime’ their first new font in over a year. ‘Regime'’is based on 19th century slab serif redrawn, made a little more contemporary, a little more playful and with alternate weights featuring more experimental characters. ‘Regime’ is available in 16 weights in open type, post script, and true type formats. Ranging from the regular to be used for text to ultra, an extreme bold font based on wooden poster fonts to be used for display.
When it comes to finding a way to end our dependence on fossil fuels, the greatest vaccuum in leadership, the biggest failure of imagination and the most stubborn refusal to admit the need for change is coming from the very people who are running the country.
