secrets of digital illustration Lawrence Zeegen is an illustrator, educator, writer and agent. As Academic Programme Leader for Communication and Media Arts at the University of Brighton, Zeegen leads undergraduate and postgraduate courses graphic design and illustration. As a design writer, Zeegen has contributed to numerous magazines and publications including Creative Review, MacFormat, The Journal (Association of Illustrators), Digital Creative Arts, Computer Arts and is a regular lead contributor to Computer Arts Projects. The author of three books on the subject of illustration, Zeegen is currently writing What is Illustration? (Rotovision) to be published in 2009.
